Where does my donation go?

For The Child offers innovative prevention and treatment programs for children and parents in our facilities, in their homes, at their neighborhood schools and at community sites to overcome barriers to children receiving the help they need to be healthy, productive adults – and enjoy their childhood too!

99% of parents want the best for their children, but many are challenged by family dysfunction, poverty, transportation, housing, language barriers, cultural concerns and conflicts that put children at-risk of abuse, neglect, and other trauma.

For The Child wants every challenged parent to receive the support and education they need to nurture and safely care for their child. We believe no child victim should be without the help they need, when they need it, due to family poverty. Our goal is to provide the services they need to be safe, to recover, to be protected from abuse/neglect, and to lead healthy lives regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

We cannot do the work we do with young children, teens and parents without you. There are many ways you can invest in the future of the most vulnerable children in our community – ways you can help their natural resilience, optimism and potential resurface so they can move forward, productively, with their lives.
